PURPOSE
The purpose of HEART Adults is to unify the Senior Adults at Grace Avenue UMC so they can work together toward the mission and ministry of the church.
If you are 55 years old or older, some people call you senior citizens, empty-nesters, senior adults or mature adults. At Grace Avenue, you are HEART Adults! You are "Helpful, Experienced, Active, Reaching-Out and Thankful" working in God's Kingdom. It doesn’t matter what Sunday School class you attend, if you serve on a committee, if you are in the choir or participate in Bible studies...you are all HEART Adults. Yes, you are an “age-group,” like our children or youth, but more importantly, you are a vibrant, contributing part of this Church. HEART Adults at Grace Avenue are devoted to learning, serving, planning and living more active and exciting lives!
