Sanctuary | 7:00pm
We will gather as a community of faith to remember Jesus’ journey to the cross and ultimately his death. The Grace Avenue Adult Choir will lead this service by singing Pepper Choplin’s “Once Upon a Tree”. This presentation is told through the eyes of the disciple, Luke, as the drama of Holy Week unfolds. Come and experience this profoundly moving piece in preparation of Christ’s resurrection.
Holy Saturday
Worship Center | 5:30pm
In the tradition of the early church we will anticipate and continue to wait on Christ’s resurrection by celebrating the baptism of adults and families in our congregation who have never been baptized. The service will include a special Holy Saturday message. The service, with its emphasis on adult baptism will not be a duplication of our Easter Sunday services, but instead is intended to be a unique event during Holy Week. |
