How do I get involved?

There are a lot of programs, events, and activities going on in the youth ministry at Grace Avenue.
Each program has a different purpose to reach different students. United Methodist Youth Fellowship is our Sunday night program. UMYF is a great place for new students to test the waters at church. We spend time each week in prayer, worship, playing games, getting to know each other, building our faith, and learning what it means to be a Christian. All students are welcome to participate in UMYF regardless of church membership or denomination. Sunday School is another way for new students to get connected with the Youth of Grace Avenue. We have classes for Junior and Senior High students at both hours of worship on Sunday morning. The focus of each class is to learn about the Christian faith and build relationships with peers and adults. Small Groups are designed for students who are interested in going deeper with their faith. Our small groups are discussion based and are split based on age-level. Youth Choir is another wonderful way to get involved! Voices of Grace exists for students to strengthen their faith through music and worship. All students are encouraged to attend regardless of musical ability! Parents and Adult Volunteers are encouraged to find a place in the Youth of Grace Avenue as well. Adults are needed to model their faith through leadership, service, and dedication in all areas of ministry.

We would love to help you get involved in the youth ministry at Grace Avenue. If you would like more information about any of these activities or would like to discuss getting involved, please don't hesitate to contact us! or 972-335-2882 ext. 5.
