Youth Workers
There are many areas for parents and other adults to get involved with the Youth of Grace Avenue. Hands on opportunities exist such as teaching Sunday School, leading small groups, and being a counselor on Sunday evenings at UMYF. Many behind the scenes opportunities also exist. These are jobs that are important and do not require as much hands on time with the students such as coordinating events, collecting money, recruiting volunteers, and supporting our youth ministry. In order for programs to grow, the adult support base must grow first. If you support the youth ministry at Grace Avenue and want to see it grow, I would love to find a place for you to serve in some capacity, whether that means teaching Sunday school, facilitating a small group, attending UMYF, or even recruiting other adults to fill those roles. There is a spot for every interested adult to serve in the Youth of Grace Avenue.
Our Youth Workers Leadership team meets monthly to plan, discuss, and fellowship. This group consists of counselors and supporters who are parents of youth, parents of small children, grandparents, single adults, and married people without children who love the Lord and enjoy serving the youth ministry at Grace Avenue.
