Pumpkins on the Prairie is one of Grace Avenue’s most well-known and successful community outreach events. Pumpkins on the Prairie takes place throughout the month of October each fall. Guests from around the community and beyond come each day to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful fall weather.

At Pumpkins on the Prairie you will find free activities and fun for all ages, including a hay maze, hay rides, photo opportunities and bounce houses. During selected hours you can visit our face painter or take a turn with the Pumpkin Launcher! Throughout the month there are special events and activities including the Blessing of the Animals. our Market with a Mission, and a Fall Festival. On most days you will can cool off with a treat from Kona Ice.

Date Night: Marriage Matters
Creating Healthy Balance in our Relationship
Friday, April 27th from 6:30-9:30pm in the Worship Center.
Make a reservation for a night out with your spouse that includes time to focus on creating a Healthy Balance in your marriage, dinner provided by Olive Garden and childcare if needed. Our guest speakers will be Rod and Cheryl Bishop. Rod and Cheryl are certified leaders in Love and Logic, Financial Peace and the human sexuality curriculum Created by God. They will bring their wisdom, gift of experience as a couple and humor to our time together. Cheryl is on staff at First United Methodist Church of Richardson and Rod is the CEO of Summit Quest Travel. Cost for the evening is $25 per couple.

We need bakers to bring their best desserts…pies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes! We need it all! Come show off your best baking skills or your newest recipe!

We will have fun activities for the kids and the Meat Ministry will be cooking up dinner before we auction off the delicious desserts.

Childcare will be available for infants-preK if you register in advance.

All proceeds to benefit GAMMA (Grace Avenue Missions, Ministry & Assistance)

Grace Avenue offers free classes focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading, and conversation to those in the community who need to improve their English skills. We also offer Citizenship Classes for those preparing to take the United States Citizenship exam.

Frisco Fastpacs is a program that provides meals for students over the weekends during the school year.  They are currently serving over 750 students per week and need our help.
