Common Good Appreciation Signs

Common Good Appreciation Sign Program
January 31-February 14, 2021

We all need some good in our lives! As our world faces one challenge after another it is tempting to turn inward and seek ways to fulfill our own wants and needs. That collective chaos and struggle of society feels daunting and we want to withdraw from the conversation. But as followers of Christ, we are called to community. We are called to live in a way that serves not only ourselves but our neighbors.

There are people and organizations that are working for the Common Good of our community. Join us as we celebrate them!

MLK Day of Service
January 18, 2021
Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is on Jan. 18, 2021, and  is the 26th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the Civil Rights leader’s life and legacy. Observed each year on the third Monday in January as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. We look forward to your engagement and accomplishments in Dr. King’s memory.
