Children at Home and Around the World

During our June 5th Sunday Mission we are highlighting our missions and relationships with children everywhere.

ZOE Empowers
Through Grace Avenue’s partnership with ZOE, we have been able to support orphans and vulnerable children in Africa.  The ZOE program empowers these children by helping them start small businesses to help bring their families out of the cycle of poverty. Learn more at www.zoeempowers.org.

You are invited to celebrate the two work groups we have been supporting as they graduate from the three-year program through your prayers and financial gifts;

Sunday, June 30th
—Petting Zoo in the Circle Drive
—Opportunities to make donations through the “purchase” of animals
(Many of those who participate in Zoe’s programs begin their businesses through the donation of livestock.)
—Opportunities to write cards of prayer, celebration, and blessing for our Work Groups.

Little Elm Kids Eat Free
Join us as we assemble lunch bags to support our Kids Eat Free Program at Preston on the Lake.  This program helps kids who have free or reduced-cost lunches at school during the summer months.  Your 5th Sunday opportunities to help are:

Saturday, June 29th
Following Sabbath Worship

Sunday, June 30th
10:30-11:00am & 12:00am-12:30pm in Tom Graves Hall
