Co-Pastor of Modern Worship
Jesseca serves Grace Avenue UMC as a Co-Pastor of Modern Worship. She is passionate about bridging the world and the church through ministries of reconciliation, liberation, peace and justice. In addition to preaching and teaching, her experience includes cultivating inclusive young adult ministries and community organizing around criminal justice reform and voter engagement.
Jesseca received her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Latinoa Studies from Southern Methodist University, Perkins School of Theology. She is also a candidate for ordained ministry in the United Methodist Church.
She attended Centennial High School in Frisco & currently lives in Carrollton with her husband, Nabil and their new baby Sophia.
In her free time, Jesseca enjoys working out, reading Brene Brown, listening to live music, and playing with their fur-baby, Honey.
