Awkward Christmas Party
Sunday, Dec 17th | 6:30 pm
Tom Graves Hall
The holidays can be a weird time for many adults; having to go home and be with your family can sometimes be AWKWARD. For those who don’t have a nuclear family, are in transition, are away from their family, have lost loved ones, or aren’t accepted by their family, Christmas can sometimes be a hard time to get through. Whether you have a huge family or you have chosen family, we hope you come and celebrate with us the JOY of the season in all its complete awkwardness.
This a party for adults, so come with your ugly sweaters and stay for the eggnog and awkward games!

Stories of Hope, Peace, Joy & Love
An Interactive Online Advent Calendar
Dec 3rd – 24th
Advent Calendars have become increasingly popular in recent years… and, perhaps, increasingly disconnected from the idea of Advent, which is a time of waiting and preparation for Christ’s birth. While it is harmless fun to countdown to Christmas by drinking your favorite tea or getting a new pair of socks each day, we wanted to offer another opportunity this year. We have invited members of our congregation to offer their stories of hope, peace, joy, and love for each day of Advent. These powerful testimonies will be available through an online Advent Calendar which will reveal a new story each day.
