Touch A Truck 2019

Bring the family and come enjoy this hands-on experience!

Different kinds of vehicles will be at Grace Avenue to explore: Fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and more! Kids (and adults!) are encouraged to see, touch, explore, and learn about their favorite big trucks, heavy equipment, and safety vehicles. You might even get to honk the horn!

It’s time to begin spring cleaning and donate your items to our Annual Rummage Sale. The Grace Avenue Rummage Sale will take place on Saturday, May 18th and we are in need of items &  volunteers!  Volunteers are needed to assist the day of the sale as well as with set up and pricing on Thursday night and Friday throughout the day.

Relay for Life: May 10, 2019

Grace Avenue is once again participating in the Frisco Relay for Life honoring cancer survivors and their caregivers.
This was one of the first community events we ever participated in 20 years ago when we first started as a church.
This year’s Frisco Relay for Life Event is on Friday, May 10 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm at Wakeland High School.

ERT Training June 2019

Early Response Team Training/Recertification
Hosted at Grace Avenue UMC
Saturday, June 8th | 8:30-4:00pm (noon for recertification)
Trained Early Response teams are certified to be on site and assist in the early stages following disaster. They fill specific needs in the wake of disaster to clean out flood-damaged homes, remove debris, place tarps on homes, and help to prevent further damage.

Walking with Grace

“Walking with Grace” is a women’s walking group that meets for fellowship and exercise. Tiffany Krieg will lead the group for a 45 minute walk along a designated path, starting and ending at the church Sanctuary doors.

Holy Week 2019

Join us for worship, prayer, and devotion during Holy Week. We will have daily noon devotions & lunch, as well as services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. The “F-Word Exhibition” will be prominently featured throughout the week in the Sanctuary Narthex area of the church.
