Make a 2020 Christmas Offering

What has come into being in Christ was life, and the life was the light for all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” John 1:3-5

As 2020 draws to a close we find ourselves wondering; “Is there light at the end of the tunnel?”  With the pandemic surging we hear news that a vaccine may be on the way and are hopeful that this crisis may soon come to an end.

Christmas, however, offers us of an even greater hope.  The light we so desperately long for is the birth of a savior who is Christ the Lord. God’s light, Jesus Christ, cannot be overcome by any darkness or any crisis.  While we may await a scientific solution, we need not wait for the opportunity to experience the light of hope, peace, joy and love in our current celebration of Christmas.  That opportunity is upon us.

In response to the gift of God this Christmas, you are invited to make a Christmas offering to Grace Avenue. This offering is intended to be over and above our regular gifts and will be immensely helpful in ending 2020 on a positive financial note.  Every dollar we offer at the end of 2020 will be a catalyst for the funding of our mission of “eradicating homelessness in whatever form it presents itself” in 2021 and beyond.

On Christmas Eve every year we conclude our worship services by passing the light of Christ.  While we will not be able to do that inside of our buildings this year, we can still pass the light through our participation in this offering.

You can make your gift in a variety of ways:
1) Mail it to the the church (3521 Main Street, Frisco, TX 75034
2) Bring it to the Church Office any day between 9:00am - 3:00pm
(Note that the office closes at noon on Dec. 31st)
3) Bring it to any of our in-person worship services
4) Make your gift online HERE or at the link above
5) Contact Cindy Moreland at [email protected] with questions or to discuss any other options.

Please note that for a contribution to be counted toward the 2020 budget (and 2020 tax deductions) it must be postmarked, received in our office, or made on-line by December 31, 2020.  As a reminder, the church office will close at noon on Dec 31. Please contact Cindy Moreland at [email protected] with questions about giving at Grace Avenue.
