Rising 5th Grade “Joy Ride” Celebration
Sunday, May 24th at 9:00 am
On May 3rd we had a joyous celebration of your High School seniors. We also know that some of our younger students are preparing to begin the next phase of their journeys by transitioning to Middle School or High School. These students are missing the fun of their last days in school and we want celebrate them as well. We are planning “Joy Ride” Celebrations for these students as well!
How will it work?
Each student and their families will be socially distanced from the rest by several feet. They will have a sign in front of them that states their name and school. The congregation along with other friends/teachers/community members you want to invite will come and celebrate our students with a ‘joyride’ through the parking lot to wave at them, congratulate them, and wish them well. Everyone, except the students and their families, will need to remain in their vehicles due to social distancing. They will not be able to park or get out at any time during the parade. We will have staff carefully taking pictures throughout the event.
In order for us to organize and maintain appropriate social distancing, participation will be by registration only.
