We invite you to join us for our inaugural year of Traveling Hearts which offers opportunities for Senior Adults to journey together to engaging places through day and overnight trips. We will visit museums, historic places, gardens, and performing arts events. It is very important that you register as far in advance as possible for these trips. We need to meet minimum numbers to provide bus transportation and obtain discount tickets. All are invited to participate, so please spread the word throughout the community. Meadows Museum: Jacob and His Twelve Sons

We will tour the Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University including a special exhibit of paintings of Jacob’s twelve sons by Francisco de Zurbarán. These life-size paintings were created in the 1640s and have been housed at Auckland Castle in England since 1756. This is the first time they will be presented in America.
Next, we will visit the rare document archives of the Bridwell Library at SMU where we will view some of the original letters of John Wesley. We will also view a special exhibit on Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. Cost includes bus transportation and exhibit admission. Lunch at La Madeleine not included.

Join us for an extraordinary holiday production of A Christmas Carol. In this delightfully re-imagined take on Dickens’ enduring classic the audience is surrounded by the actors, with magical ghosts flying above, scary ghosts bursting out of the floor, and snow falling on everyone. Full of traditional Christmas hymns and songs in fresh, toe-tapping musical arrangements, joyful bursts of choreography, and eye-popping special effects. The Wyly Theatre itself provides a unique modern experience. Cost includes bus transportation and admission.
Dallas Symphony presents Cirque de la Symphonie at the Morton H. Meyerson

Cost is $42 or $62 ($20 Deposit)
Join us for this Dallas Symphony concert which will feature acrobats, contortionists, and strongmen. The current plan is to meet at the church at 1pm, attend the 2:30pm show, and return to the church after eating dinner at the Mockingbird Station location of Cafe Express.
Cost includes transportation and admission. Dinner is not included.
(There are two ticket options: Seats in groups of 2 are available on the floor next to the side walls at $24 each. Seats in groups of approximately 5 are available on the second level for $42 each. Transportation cost is $20. That results in $44 or $62 options.)
