Created by God is a human sexuality workshop for students in the 5th – 7th grades. Created by God explains human growth, sexual development, and reproduction form a Christian perspective. It is based on two assumptions: We are sexual beings from birth: To be human is to be sexual, and sexuality is a good gift from God, to be used wisely. Our goal is to help your student understand and celebrate the special person that they are and what they will become.
Widen the Screen
September 12 – October 3, 2021
There is always more to the story. We tend, however, to focus on slight details from which we draw large judgments. From this we often get an inaccurate picture of who someone really is or what is really happening. These snap judgments can lead to the worst form of prejudice. God’s love always invites us to see a wider picture with deeper insight. God’s love moves us to connect and crossover into relationships that transform us and others.
Waves of Grace
We are often called to love and serve our neighbors during the most devastating circumstances. Natural disasters and humanitarian crises have the potential to demonstrate both the worst and the best of humanity. As part of our Mission to eradicate homelessness in whatever form it presents itself, Grace Avenue is committed to responding to these events with Waves of Grace.

Widen the Screen Conversations
Tuesdays, September 14, 21 & 28
During our Widen the Screen worship series, we want to create opportunities for deeper conversation. We know that there is more to the story than we can explore on any given Sunday morning. We have invited a series of hosts to share their expertise an/or lead us through some deeper conversation that help us widen our perspective about how we love our neighbors.
