Empowerment Church Gala

Volunteers Needed!

Grace Avenue is partnering with our neighbors by hosting a fundraising gala for The Empowerment Church, which currently meets at Cobb Middle School. The Empowerment Church is lead by Pastor Earnest Morgan. Recently Grace Avenue and The Empowerment Church participated in a Project Unity “Together We Dine” event together. We hope that these events are only the beginning of an ongoing relationship between our communities.

Family First Fridays

1st Fridays from 6:30-8:30 pm
Parenting is not easy.  Join with other parents in all ages and stages of the journey as we learn from speakers and each other.  We will begin with dinner and then parents will begin their program while kids enjoy fun activities separately!   
 
September 9 topic is The Overscheduled Family: How to find purpose in the busyness of life.  Kristen Lane, Minister of Discipleship with Families, will lead us through a discussion on how to find purpose when our days and calendars are filled to the brim with school, work, homework, sports, church, and extracurricular activities.
