Winter Storm 2021 Response
As we continue to manage the health, safety, economic, and emotional toll of the pandemic, our community now faces the compounded effects of the recent winter storms resulting in issues with our power and water supplies.  Many are facing financial insecurity, damage to their homes, and are emotionally and spiritually drained.  Grace Avenue will continue to offer opportunities to support and our community as they become evident.

Blessing Bags for Homeless

As temperatures are no longer below freezing the homeless individuals in our area no longer have access to Warming Stations for shelter and meals. We can respond by offering "Blessing Bags" that supply some basic needs.

Drop bags off in the entry lobby of the church.

Use a gallon zip-lock bag. Here is an example of what can fill your bags:  2 pairs of men’s crew socks, 1- bottled water, 1 package of wet wipes, Band-Aids, soft granola bars.  All food must be individually wrapped and non-perishable Healthy choices.

Donate Bedding and Volunteer with BedStart

We also need donations of NEW twin, full, and queen sheets.  Drop donations off in the entry lobby of the church.
